Do you mean the GE doesn't already make beer? :-)
GE's conglomerate of unrelated businesses reminds me of a friend who
always thought that such conglomerates were silly. He made up a phony
business name that he used frequently to characterize such outfits:
"The Great Northern Pacific Steam Locomotive and Aluminum Storm Door
Company."
