As everybody's discussion, DX lens is designed for APS-C sensor. Thus, the
image circle is smaller than FX sensor or film SLR. But, it also may apply
on FX/film body with tele-focal length range. Visible vignetting at wide
angle focal length is understood. Here are some samples for Nikkor DX
17-55/2.8 which shot at the same gathering.

So I am surprised visible vignetting at 200mm for DX 18-200mm lens & of
course DX lens is not good for FX/film body. I wish to say not the whole
range fails to apply FX/film body of DX lenses.
Actually, the test is just for fun.
