It is much better than the E-1 and good enough for my purposes, but then
I don't need large prints.
I am really enamoured with the E-3 and it will be welcome at my home
for the foreseeable future, now I have the tools I need I had better get
out and learn how to use them, rather than spend all my time on the
internet looking for the latest upgrade - for me the E-3 is sufficiency
as is my macpro and aperture.
I wonder f it applies to cameras, but I once read an article in the
American cycle magazine that said the more motorcycles you have the less
you ride, having once owned 6 at the same time I can attest that this is
true for motorbikes. In another article it talks about real bikes and
defines any BMW as real bike because it works every day, I would class
my 3Ti and E-1 as real cameras, the E-3 is too new to trust yet.
I wonder what aperture can do with the raw files when they finally get
around to finishing it.
