Some say (and it might not work in all cases) that mailing the repair
invoice separate from the repair may lessen vat. The again, a packing
list with no prices may encourage a customs agent to apply his own
values which might be out of line.
Also, anyone in Canada should not ship to the US by UPS (United Parcel
Service). The fee paid there gets the package to the border, THEN they
bill the recipient another $30-40 to deliver it. Post Office (USPS)
doesn't pull this with Canadian parcels.
