I wonder if they are somehow making mistakes with AF Target mode. The
E-510 doesn't have that, as far as I know, so that might explain the
difference in AF results.
I took some photos of Greenfinches on a bird feeder yesterday. They
move pretty quickly so it required speedy AF and IS. I have just had
a look at them, as a result of your referring us to that forum, and
the focus has worked very well. I might say that my hand-holding
causes problems, but the focus is as good as ever. However, I might
do some tests ...
I had to look at the images in Olympus Master as Apple have not
updated Aperture to cater for E-3 RAW; I don't think that Olympus
Master will threaten any other software on the market. It is
grindingly slow to load, to display images and to switch between
images; what a dreadful application!
