Recently I have become very interested in the new LowePro Primus, which
seems to fit my ideas for a crosscountry ski backpack that can take a DSLR
with a large lens mounted, that can be easily accessed without taking the
pack off. It also has the same method of accessing the upper and lower
compartments as my Bergans ski pack, where the zip access is on the back
(harness-side) of the pack, so that one can lay the pack down in the snow
(or mud!) without getting the harness dirty.
