Points well taken, Jeff, you need to choose the right stuff.
But in this case, given that the base material has fractured due to the
vibration, I suspect that the best adhesive/solvent would end up being
stronger than the base material itself, perhaps causing another fracture
elsewhere. My inclination is to find an alternative way of fixing the
housing in a way that minimises the effect of vibration - brackets as
suggested by Martin with rubber mountings, maybe. Hence the request for a
pic.

Plastic pipe cement might work well. There are two types however, one for
ABS the other for PVC. Picking the best match could make a noticeable
difference.
I believe Gorilla glue is polyurethane. I don't have any first hand
experience but it seems unlikely to be strong enough. Epoxy doesn't hold
well to some plastics.
