Perhaps not 7mm. PTLens over corrects the jamb on the left. When applied
to Ian's scaffolding shot, known to be at 7mm, , the correction is very
good.
Or it may be that distortion is different closer up?
Yes, there is a little barrel distortion, but exceptionally little. It
is slight and only in the outer areas. None of the central bulging so
typical of super wide zooms from others, including the new Canyon
16-35/2.8 II.
