If the 5D and E-3 are not the same size/dimensions, comparison of their relative weights only tells part of the story. E-1 = 660g (1.5 lbs) 141 x 104 x 81 mm E-3 = 800g (1.8 lbs) 142 x 116 x 75 mm 5D = 810g 152 x 113 x 75 mm The E-3 is reported at 800g in Deep Peeve w/o batt. The 5D is 895g but that's WITH batt. So it's a centimeter less wide and a bit thicker than the 5D. I'm guessing it has more metal and less plastic than the 5D, which would not be a bad thing in my book. Joel W.
