Thanks for the info, Paul. I'll keep that in mind but I think I'm going
to take Tom's advice and go for a new Samsung home/office laser printer.
I was concerned about the parallel/usb conversion since I had a couple
vicarious experiences with folks trying to convert USB to SCSI to run
older scanners and both without success. Since these were Adaptec
devices I figured if Adaptec couldn't get the SCSI/USB thing correct
probably no one else could either.
