Finally we are getting to the point where we will replace our leaking
roof, we are also taking the opputinity to convert the roof space to a
living area, its a bit low, but planning regulations mean we will have
to make do.
I have started cleaning the beams with a cordless drill and nylon
mop/brush. They are coming up quite nicely, you can even see the
original pencil marks on the beams which are about 50 years old.
The question is what should I put on them when I have finished cleaning
them OR maybe nothing at all may be the answer. The new roof will sit on
top of them so trhey will all be in full display.
here are some pics - OM contect E1 with zuiko 8/F2.8 alias fungal fisheye.
