Per unit volume, that's correct. But civilization emits about 3.1415  
gazillion times as much CO2 as it does CH4.

But my favorite is CH3OH. The antidote to methanol poisoning is  
C2H5OH. So after brewing biodiesel, one is required to have a  
prophylactic snort of booze to counteract any methanol one might have  
inhaled or absorbed through the skin.
