I think I was one of the most vocal about it too. It was the OM-E
lens adaptor which brought me back into the fold. Bill Barber
(NSURIT) went to great lengths to prove to me that the E-system was
worthy of my investment. Without the lens adaptor, it would have
been "no dice" for me, and I would have bailed without question.
I still think it was a very STUPID decision on Olympus' part to
discontinue the OM mount as well as the T-series flash system.
Yet, my "committment" to Olympus is still pretty slim. I bought a
single E-1 with 14-54 for $1025 2 1/2 years ago and haven't spent a
single dime on another E-component since. If I were to bail now, I'd
pick up a Nikon D3 in a heartbeat and cruise the dumpsters for old
classic lenses.
