Only for non-moving objects. If you want an HDR of a person posing for
a portrait, it would be best by far to have a chip with lots of
headroom. Combining two or more differently-exposed shots of a person
in-camera (or even with something like Photomatix) to get an HDR image
almost always creates ghosting.
