The last one I went into in London was a step back in time. A bare
hall with a number of people behind cages - like the ticket hall in
St Pancras c.1953. A few notices on the wall and my polite enquiry as
to whether I could purchase a large 'tough bag' was met with mild
incomprehension.
In comparison, ours look like a proper shop with lotsa stuff for sale
from mailing boxes to recordable CD's and mobile fones. The queues
are about the same length, but.
