I know - and they assume it's equally easy from outside but then it
becomes a so-called 'SWIFT' transfer.
Down here we're such a long way from anywhere that we have to be a
lot more accommodating but I still suspect that there is an element
of murkin insularity at work here and of course, teutonic
stubbornness. More Germans are offering Paypal now - they may have
seen the light and realised that they get more money for Leica bits
if the US can buy them.
Me, I'll send just about anything anywhere if you'll pay the postage
& insurance.
