To clarify a bit further, this is a different concept to the gallery
program that someone mentioned here a while back; with that one, you run
a program on your computer, point that program at a bunch of images, and
it generates the pages/thumbnails/etc to upload. (irfanview has a very
basic version of this, for instance)
With 'Singapore', the code runs on the web server end, so I just
upload images, and the pages for the galleries, thumbnails, etc are
generated dynamically by the web server. I can also add/change the
comments on images through a web browser if I need to do that.
The advantage of the first type is that you can put the result on any
web host anywhere, it's just static html/images, so it'll always work.
The advantage of the second type (once you've got it running, which
isn't always as easy as it should be) is that if I want to add more
images/new galleries, I just upload them, and the galleries magically
get larger; I don't have to regenerate pages or whatever.
