Well, you never know. When we were out for fish and chips the other day,
I, who am, by any physical measure, mature, had a yellow Trummer Pils
and Carol Anne, who is my junior in age, and female to boot, had an very
dark Old Peculiar.
Anybody know the origin of the name Old Peculiar without doing a quick
web search? A hint; it has nothing to do with any idea that the beer is
odd. In fact, it undoes for me the evil perpetrated by Guiness. OY! ;-)
Another hint; folks like Andrew and I would likely have been in trouble
with the Peculiar in those days.
