What might also help is a scan which is not a jpg - a tif should be easier
to work with, and much easier to upsize. I upsized your 600dpi jpg to a
very satisfactory 100MB tif, but the jpg artifacts are very obvious.
Did I mention upsizing? There are some attractive discounts on SizeFixer at

I did do a 1200dpi scan but the file size is horrific. If you think you
could work better with a 1200dpi file, maybe I can send it directly to you,
Moose. Let me know.
Thanks again. Appreciate you coming to my help. Dad would no doubt be
pleased. :)
