This was done by a number of manufacturers who fell behind in the IS
race, usually a 'Scene' mode very little different to 'sports' mode
and producing dreadful results, given the poor quality of high ISO
performance in compacts at least. However, Oly may have taken the
prize for the most ethically suspect name for the 'feature' which
seems deliberately designed to confuse.
