Thanks everyone for all the comments. I was also fretting that many of the
concerns with bright screens in the DSLR's posted a couple days ago may apply
to the 2-series screens:

Thus the image may look focused in the VF though be off on the film.
Sounds like the 2/3 stop inc brightness is associated with a minimal/modest
downside.
I try and get an idea of dof in the vf and bokeh, if circumstances permit,
though am surprised on both accounts in many cases.

Hmmm,
May have hit the nail on the head but fretting about these things is becoming
an enjoyable habit.
