No offense taken. I'm not a dealer, gallery person, or curator. But as an
artist I need some of these people on my side to succeed. But I agree with
your assessment of them in most cases. Most of the art world is made up of
parasites who get rich off artists while we make little. I always found it
funny how art exhibits often charged artists an entry fee. We pay to
perform, while other creative people get paid to perform. Can you imagine a
nightclub owner telling a local band that they have to pay to perform? Of
course not..the bar owner pays the musicians to perform! But artists don't
get paid, we pay. I refuse on principle to be in any exhibit I have to pay
to enter.
