Chris,
I agree the Balloon's not really fit to be seen but I liked the view
(taken from my "study" window)...
Just checked the EXIF data. I'm sure the difference is because of the
light - the Balloon pic was taken in the evening when the light was
failing - 1/500 at ISO 400 so more difficult to focus & hand hold. Both
the bird pics were taken in bright light - 1/2000 at ISO 800.
