Hum, interesting. Especially with the emphasis on "that." Now, is
"that" pointed at whether the woman was worth killing, or killing
for, or whether he was, or the sad state of a culture where fear and
anxiety (in the absence of actual deeds) drive a person to murder? Or
had there been deeds in the past that likely would be repeated? Poor
fellow obviously had daemons in his head. Too much of that clear
blockade whiskey up in them Georgia (Tennessee) hills? Wrong kind of
mushrooms on his steak that night? Or was he really driven mad by the
folk of faerie?
