Ok, so sue me. ;) I had "C" on the brain for some reason. Must be
the "fly-over-country" version of the camera.

I've got mixed feelings about this. I'd prefer an optical viewfinder
or better yet, an EVF, but not if it is implemented so poorly that
you can't really use it. For example, the EVF finder on the FZ50 is
really nice--except you can't see the entire image at one time unless
your eyeball is almost touching the glass.
As my vision continues its downward trend thanks to age and
computers, I find that there are fewer and fewer viewfinders that I'm
comfortable using anymore. Live view LCD is typically a bit easier
for me now because it results in far less eyestrain. However,
shooting in bright sunlight is still an issue, but suprisingly, the
770WS's LCD did well.

I think it's about the perfect "go-anywhere" camera. My friends
actually kayak, not just canoe. Anybody ever stay dry river
kayaking? The size of the camera forces the sensor to be small
unless they went with a fixed wide-angle lens like the Olympus XA
had.
