Before the OM1 came out. Although the bodiy is very slightly bigger than the OM1 those screw mount lenses are tiny in comparison to the Zuiko's. And the quality was in general second to none at the time. I ended up selling it and picking up my original OM1 kit plus a couple Rollei's. I still have the one Rollei I gave to my father but it has bounced down one last mountain and isn't repairable. couple old slides taken with the SP500 w/ 28mm Takumar poorly scanned: http://www.interisland.net/watershed/mike/LatinAmerica/CordilleraBlanca/huaraz.jpg http://www.interisland.net/watershed/mike/LatinAmerica/Patagonia/Paine.jpg Mike ============================================== List usage info: http://www.zuikoholic.com List nannies: olympusadmin@xxxxxxxxxx ============================================== |
