It is a lovely cottage! One of my wishes is to someday in the not too
distant future--i.e. before I die--to be able to rent such a cottage
at such an age somewhere in the English countryside for an extended
stay wherein I get to do a lot of reading, a lot of walking in sun-
dappled fields, and a lot of visiting of historic places. Not to
mention a bit of serious photography. I'm the world's worse vacation
photographer. For some reason I just can't be bothered. When I have a
camera in my hand, it's all or nothing. On vacation, that usually
means nothing.
Alas, I fear it will remain a dream, but it's a nice one and I'm
loath to give it up.
