That's a good point Joel - I see myself as international and
vehemently anti-patriotic but I am fond of the authentic Oz culture.
It just all grinds you down after a while - the critters seem to
adopt the worst, not the best. The sight of Indians, Tongans and
Samoans at school aping LA gangs is tiresome in the extreme. One day
I actually used the line, "Get over it Ravi - you're NOT black!"
And don't get me started on Macdonalds....
