If only you could be there, Chuck. It's the tiniest airfield and
everyone is really close to the action. Last year they had 2 An-2s
doing a formation takeoff! The other excellent airfield in the area
is Old Warden, where is housed the Shuttleworth Collection. The
crowd line is between 2 runways and you have beautiful old aircraft
curving almost overhead to provide the best pictures available! A
friend of mine used to fly Spitfires, Hawk Moths and a replica
Bristol Boxkite there.
