Yes, you could swap the entire diaphragm plate from one to the other.
Going from the back of the lens: there are three small screws that hold
the entire lens barrel into the focus helicoid, and 3 other screws that
hold the diaphragm plate in. Remove the proper screws and slide the
diaphragm plate out. Watch for (possibly) 3 loose spacers.
