In the continuing world of options:

120 MPH fast enough for your expressway?
The 'Smart Car' gets to 80 MPH, the one I saw outran my Nissan truck in the
mountains and they were coming from Nevada.
There are more options and more. I want an electric that has a solar charger
so I can get a little more range, then the gas guzzler truck (24 MPH) can
sit in the driveway more often.

Would you rather I drive an SUV, or a car *and* a pickup truck? I'd need
both, because I need the capabilities of both at different times. Further,
95 percent of my driving is at highway speed, so a hybrid would do
absolutely no good in my use. (That's why I bought a Lexus RX350 instead of
a Lexus RX400h.)
The simple fact is that people in poor countries don't get to decide what I
drive. Neither do sanctimonious Canadian enviro-wackos.
