Just had a chance to look at the pics.
Switzerland you said?
Do you know what kind of trees those are? They look similar to young Douglas
Firs where I live, nothing over about 30 years of age if they are, though
different trees grow differently.

Andrew could use a little of that moisture. Looks like some thinning has
been done there. Is it commercial logging or just taking out dead trees? I
had a bunch of big trees blow down in a bad wind storm and get to do some
logging before I wanted to. Your images show that timbered areas "can" still
be pretty after some logging is done. /jmac
