An absolutely ridiculous assertion, but then I guess it's become quite
fashionable to sneer at those who belong to a religion. Well, christians at
least. Unfortunately you're referring more to an emotional debate than a
scientific one. Actual scientists seem to be pretty much split down the
middle as to whether it's actually 'global warming' or the next ice age
coming. It's clear that one side of the debate get's 99% of the media
attention, however. And no one can say for certain what our contribution to
the changing climate is. Those who say they can are either outright liars
or are on somebody's payroll. Or both. Heck, they can't even accurately
predict what the weather will be next month, yet I'm expected to believe
that idiot Al Gore knows what it will be in 100 years? He must have worked
that out after inventing the internet. Earth's climate has been in a state
of constant flux, with periods of dramatic change, for as far back as real
scientists can visualize. Why we expect it to remain static since we
arrived on the scene is quite beyond me. The only thing that is absolutely
certain about the whole thing is that climatological fearmongering is a huge
industry, worth trillions of dollars to certain groups.
End of rant.
