The shallow DOF, however, isn't an asset with these subjects to my eye.
The distant stained glass window in 02 cries out to be in better focus.
I understand, of course, that these are meant to be record shots, as
well as attractive photos, but the visual/emotional center is the
window, not the arch, pews near the camera and lovely floor.
04 and 05 are better, but I think they would work better with more DOF
and/or movement of the focal plane farther out.
Still a great project that deserves a book or some other way to reach a
greater audience.
