Just what we've been discussing in my family. Regardless of the
practicalities, no one is anywhere ready to sell the old family home,
since 1935. I think a new family "center" and dynamic have to develop
before we will be able to sell he house.
Up to a point, that doesn't bother me. At some point, the continuing
costs associated with maintaining an empty house may become a
significant issue. I sort of hope we can settle things and close the
trust in six months, but know that's pushing it and don't want to
alienate my family. Gotta play it by ear.
