Yep you're right Jon
Sorry for all the fuss and upsetting issues.
I think it went too far.. Let's say though that it can be good too,
helping to re-establish our limits and bonds.
I'm also glad that you realise that my social critique of how the new
digital discourse functions has nothing to do directly with the list
members, neither ever thought that it could be seen as attacking
anyone here!!!..
But of course it briefly deals with all of us as modern
individuals/photographers in the western world. How our decisions are
influenced, what choices we are given, how powerful capitalist forces
and constructed ideals and beliefs, in other words the economic and
cultural context structure and limit (even if appear as just
liberating) our actions and rationalisations.
By the way, hmm.. what's the difference between 'list dog' and 'list lap dog'
you're right i didn't realise :)
aren't they both about a... dog that keeps us safe etc ?
