Paypal is very easy for a buyer to use. It also puts one more layer of
"protection" between the buyer's bank account and an unknown seller.
I personally doubt PayPal does anything in terms of guaranteeing the
transaction but to the best of my knowledge they hide the credit card
no. from the person the payment is made to. In your case I don't think
too many people would be worried about you trying to abuse their
credit card. You have a long public history of repairing OMs. The only
cost most buyers would see is that they would have to expend a little
more effort get either their credit card no. to you or to pay by other
means.
Whether PayPal is worth the extra fees to you for your yaBe sales
isn't as clear. Often the two highest bidders offer quite a bit more
than the lower bidders. If one of the top bidders doesn't bid because
they want to use PayPal, sometimes the cost would be significant.
