It was a little breezy around here last night. We didn't suffer any
damage other than a few branches down but others in more exposed areas
lost trees and the power was out for a few hours...again. Big City folks
less used to this kind of weather were hit harder. They also get a lot
more rain than we do. This will give you some idea of what it was like
around 2am last night at one of the nearest recording stations.

I'm still without power. On my third fill-up of the generator. Almost
drove headlong right into a downed tree on my way to work yesterday.
On the heels of the wind, we've now got a cold front upon us. About 25
degrees when I left for work this morning. Still a million plus without
power. (maybe I'm the 'plus')
Believe I heard the peak gust at Sea-Tac airport was 69 MPH.
