Yes, I have been using Photoshop CS, as well as LightZone and Graphic
Converter (with which I have little patience ...). Lightzone
complements any other system nicely through its different way of
controlling relative brightness (the Zone Controller). I am about to
load a year's worth of photos into Aperture to check on its ease of use.
I used to have a folder called "Transit Digital" for images, arranged
by month, which I had yet to adjust, accept or reject. Now I plan to
put all the photos into their final folders and accept or reject them
after trying out different effects. It should save a bit of time. I
could have done that with LightRoom, but I would never have known if
I was going to end up with it. And Aperture's "non-destructive"
adjustments will be a quicker and easier way to work for me, and it
means that there will be fewer versions of each image apparent to the
cataloguing software (iView, taken over by M$ since I bought it ...).
I'll let you know how I get on, but my aim is to avoid using PS after
a while.
