Thanks both for the comments... And you are right - it didn't really occur
to me to mess with the painting, but your version is a lot more arresting;

And the character in the chair, I agree - at some point I will scan that
negative (it's a scanned print) and see if I can do something with it.
There is also a bus driver in the shot sitting in exactly the same position,
but I couldn't bring him out in the darkroom - just not good enough!
