Probably my best uprez results have been from a three-step
resize.  I just make sure that all three are at a different
ratio. This reduces the aliasing that occures with converging
diagonal lines.  I've also done a sharpening in the midst of a
resize too with great results.

PWP's uprez engine is pretty good but does choke on diagonals.
