Oh yes! I have to have an optical viewfinder, even if it has limited
coverage, as with the Powershot series. I had the G5 before
switching to the S70.

Good point :-), but I am quite keen on a decent range of exposure
available.

And, by some quirk of fate ..., Amateur Photographer is due to review
the G7 next week.
