I'm bidding on a Canon A1 - and the seller has been honest enough to admit
it suffers from it - in the listing. So hoping to win it cheaply. I know
opinions on how serious a problem this is vary - from people advising not to
buy at all to those saying it's nothing to worry about. I undertsand that
its a lubrication problem with the mirror. Can one lubriacte it oneself -
and if so, with what? Graphite?

inconvenienced. (And threw a party for them afterwards for being really cool
about it).
