I will wait until I can find the original serial number for my version 5 
before contacting them now as I have found this tutorial to try

I really don't like products that have to be activated, I hate being 
spied on but I guess I am living in the wrong era - always felt I would 
have enjoyed growing up in the rock and roll years more better.
