It's been a while since I went from 7 to CS2, so I may be wrong.......
I believe it was necessary to have the old program installed, but maybe not
(might have been the case with Pagemaker to InDesign instead). In any event,
you should check with Adobe, as it may not be possible to upgrade from an
older version than 7.
