A superb idea. As some of you may remember, most all of my professional work
is on 2 1/4 square, now that there is basically no requirement for slides.
In the world of published photos, the common sizes (8x10, etc.) are of no
concern. The square offers the most cropping options.

someone posted a link to a company on the east coast that makes high quality
EVF's Will we ever see these in a camera? With the transition to slr's, I
don't think so.

No body wants to give up the sales of dedicated lenses. Witness the Canon
and Nikonmove to cheap kit lenses.
