God - imagine what could have been had Olympus's board
approved the OM-5! 

What is with the "Evolt" in the newer E-XXX dslr
lineup?

Naming conventions boggle the mind sometimes. Pentax
realized that they made a major mistake by naming
their digital SLR offerings "*ist". Pentax has gone
back to the "K" knowing well that it will bring
memories of the inspiring K1000. They say the K100d is
just that - a very simple down-to-earth designed dslr
camera. 

Olympus could use a knock in the head!
