Wow, neither did I! I remember reading some years back of a large
dragonfly successfully taking down and feeding on a hummingbird. The
mantis report is a new one for me.
Way back, as in early dinosaur times, there were dragonflies with
28" wingspans (fossils have been found in coal beds). Anyone care to
guess what they could bring down and feed on? Fledgling pterodactyls?
