I've got Klipsch Promedias.  They may not qualify as "hillbilly" (darn 
close as they're made in Indianapolis)though I heard from a trustworthy 
source (the same one that told me the E-3 will be out in the Fall) that 
the Promedia 2.1's are rated as one of the most accurate with the least 
distortion when it comes to reproducing the nuances of the Japanese 
language.  So there.   :)
