Thanks all.
I understand the issues with greater clarity. I have seen a few with Epson
prints with an Epson at a local fine arts photo exihbit (mostly all macros with
N*kon gear ) in Newburyport, MA this weekend-- > $600.00 a pop. She hand held
some with a "VR macro lens"--same as IS macro lens.
I used "Cibachrome" generically: I don't think there is any problem with
"Kleenex" or "Q-tip."
I think I'll try both techniques like Moose suggested. The lab with the Epson
9800 is walking distance from my wife's office.
Holland Photo unfortunately doesn't do them :-(. See below.
Ilfochromes sadly missed
With supply limitations and equipment scarcity, we are sadly announcing the end
of our Ilfochrome line of Products and Services. While Ilfochrome prints were
a unique process, our Kodak Endura © Metallic surface prints have a similar
iridescent quality. For a limited time we are offering these Metallic Prints
for the same price as our Matte and Glossy surfaces.
I have no experience with "The Lab" in Burbank, CA, http://www.lab-ciba.com
though they seem quite compulsive on the phone and they will still do them.
Again, appreciate the input.
Mike
